2. Advertising as persuasion
Advertising is the most persuasive form of communication that manipulates not only our needs and behaviour but also our thoughts. For centuries we have been influenced by advertisements without us even realizing it. Did it never occur to us, that behind the promising adverts lies a competitive mind controlling industry, the main of which goal is to sell? They have developed many schemes to challenge our understanding of the world and manage our thoughts by making us desire the never ending traits that they offer us.

The Coca-Cola Company has always believed in advertising, and that belief has taken it to the top of the mountain. Fantastic, colourful, wholesome, and memory provoking are just a few of the words and phrases that can be used to describe Coca-Cola advertising. Here is a collection of 50 Coca Cola ads from the 1889 till present days. Enjoy!

About Us
We are ilovedust, a multi-disciplinary design boutique. We specialise in creative solutions from graphic design and illustration to animation and trend prediction.
We ply our trade in two contrasting studio spaces; one located in the heart of East London, the other on the tip of the south coast. Just a short stroll from the ocean and surrounded by the rolling Hampshire countryside, our south coast team enjoy a distinct vantage point working in a former butcher’s workshop. Conversely rooted in the heart of creative hub Shoreditch, our London studio thrives on the buzz and energy of the city in a brand new, purpose-built creative haven. The blend of both environments provides us with a unique and inspiring perspective.
We mix some of the best British designers along with talent from around the globe.
We collaborate both in-house and with global brands, working together to create fresh, innovative design which makes up our award-winning portfolio.

5. DESIGNERS I LIKE
Danny Sangra - the polymath of creativity. Sangra's truly original pieces incorporate design, film, illustration and video/art direction, often with an iconoclastic approach. After studying graphic design at Central St Martins he went on to have solo exhibitions in London, Europe, Tokyo and New York.
Sangra has worked and collaborated with clients such as Sony, BBC, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Showstudio, V Magazine & Nylon. He's also launched his own knitwear collection 'AMS', alongside Lynnda Needles and has just finished filming AMS Part II. Danny created the designs, art directed the shoots and created the videos for the collection.
He produced and directed a short film for 'Test' (Jaime Perlman of Vogue creative visual online platform).
Danny is also with Academy Films as a director and recently created a music video for the Pigeon Detectives and Rowdy Superstar. Plus also for Stuart Semple.
He is a brilliant graphic designer and since joining Scrawl Collective has become one of their busiest artists.
