Cars became one of the biggest industries of the 50's. csrs were bellieved to show social staus and was a sign of who you were. therefor became a very competi. ive field. not only that it was a path to the future. car design became more futuristic and in general looked and was compared with space shutles and speed of light. the advertisers sold those traits and used them in developing copy for adverts
